Zoey’s Story
Why did Zoey want this?
Zoey has 2 young children both going to school. And being a good mom she is, she wanted to create a quiet space for her children where they can spend time alone studying and reading. So she contacted us.
Why the color choice?
After talking with Zoey we realized there was one thing that mattered above all. It was a space where they can focus. So we used simple colors that helps our minds to be calm and to focus.
The problem…
In her basement there was an undeveloped mechanical room with lots of hazards such as sharp corners and bumps where children can potentially harm themselves. Not only that but there were gas pipes and HVAC that were hanging off. We had to figure out a creative solution.
Solution
We did it the right way. We completely re-designed the structure of basement by making new walls which covered all the sharp edges, gas pipes, HVAC and other safety hazards. This was the long way but it was a right way. And we prioritize safety of our clients.
Bonus
While renovating we saw a typical small storage door that a person can barely fit. So as a bonus for Zoey, we made it a full sized door from half sized door so she can now access her storage.
Conclusion
After our work together was done, Zoey was very satisfied and happy that now her children had place to read.
